You will need to bring along good walking shoes, insect repellent, sun cream, water and a picnic lunch. We made our way downhill to the river bed and started walking "upstream". Depending on recent rainfall, there may be not much water to be seen. The terrain is sandy and easy underfoot suitable for walkers with average mobility.
